Led Sequoia varsity to consecutive P.A.L. basketball championships in 1950-51; P.A.L. Player of the Year and All-Northern California, 1951. All-P.A.L. on league water polo champions; three-years varsity basketball at San Jose State; second team All-Northern California, 1955 (among top 10 Spartan scorers); conference runner-up to Bill Russell-led USF national champions. Retired as operations manager for Litton Electron Tube Division after 41 years; pursues duck hunting, tennis and fly fishing; resides in same Menlo Park home for 44 years.
